Bank holiday widget for your website
Show this month's bank holidays on your website or blog, free. The list comes from the RBI holiday list of the state, includes second and fourth Saturdays, and updates itself every month. Visitors can switch to any state.
1. Choose the default state
2. Copy this code into your page
Paste it where the list should appear (HTML block in WordPress or Drupal, or any HTML page). The small script resizes the box to fit the list; without it the box is 420 pixels high.
To pick the state from your own code, use https://holidays.indiacustomercare.com/embed/bank-holidays?state=Bihar. The state can be a name (Uttar Pradesh), a short code (UP) or the name in the address form (uttar-pradesh). An unknown state shows Delhi.
Want the dates as data instead?
Add format=json to get the list as JSON and show it in your own design, for example https://holidays.indiacustomercare.com/embed/bank-holidays?state=Bihar&format=json&month=3. month is how many months to return, from 1 to 10 (default 3), starting with the current month. The list stops at the last month for which the RBI has published its holiday list. Please link to the more_info page in the reply when you show the dates.
